Weekly Classes


Monday Cardio-Core-Tone – 7-8 am

Location: Groll’s Family Fitness Center – 30 N State St, Preston, ID

Level: Mixed Level

Class Description: This is an ALL level class including intervals of low impact cardio, core work, and toning.  Weights, resistance bands, balls, and other various strength building tools will be used. A chair may also be incorporated to assist with balance and strength. This class is designed to help you burn calories, build and improve muscle tone, agility, endurance, and increase your range of motion.

Tuesday Yoga Flow  8-9 am

Location: Groll’s Family Fitness Center – 30 N State St, Preston, ID

Level: Mixed Level

Class Description:  You can expect to work in this class. Flowing vinyassas are a series of postures linked together with dynamic movement and breath. Flows are connected with a sun salutation, each round increasing in challenge. After thoroughly warming the body, we move into patterns of deeper holding, a balancing series, core work, and possibly a bit of play – incorporating arm balances or inversions. Everything is broken down into steps, allowing the beginner or advanced yogi alike to participate.  I encourage everyone to work at a level they feel challenged, but that best suits their body’s needs for the day.  This is an empowering class. It will leave you feeling balanced, open & energized. I incorporate the use of essential oils & light touch during savasana to encourage a deeper sense of relaxation after each class.

Wednesday Yoga Fusion – 7-8 am

Location: Groll’s Family Fitness Center – 30 N State St, Preston, ID

Level: Mixed Level

Class Description: Yoga Fusion is a blend of yoga, weights, stability ball and other various strength building tools. Intervals of dynamic movement and slow, deep heat building postures will be woven into the class format.  I incorporate the use of essential oils & light touch during savasana to encourage a deeper sense of relaxation after each class.

 

Thursday Restore & More  6:30 – 7:30 pm

Location: Groll’s Family Fitness Center – 30 N State St, Preston, ID

Level: Mixed Level – Great for beginners & experienced yogis alike.

Class Description: This is the yummy kind of yoga, a bit of work – just enough to get your muscles gently warm, lots of stretching, and breathing. Class is finished off with deeply restorative postures that will help ease you into a better nights rest. I incorporate the use of essential oils & light touch during savasana to encourage a deeper sense of relaxation after each class.

 

Friday Yoga Flow 9-10 am

Special Summer Class: 

Yoga Under the Stars

It’s that time of year again!  Yoga Under the Stars has become a fun summer tradition that my yoga friends and I have all come to look forward to.  Join us for an evening get-away up beautiful Maple Creek Canyon. The stars are simply stunning here.  You can often see the Milky Way stretching across the sky.

Class is designed to help you wind down for the evening and release tension.  We work at a gentle to moderate level with lots of stretching. I use essential oils & light touch at the end to encourage deeper relaxation. Savasana was never so blissful!

NOTE the time change in August – the days are considerably shorter and chillier by this time.

Things to bring:

  • Yoga Mat
  • Blanket/Pillow
  • Mosquito Repellent
  • Sweat shirt or long sleeves recommended to slip on as the evening cools down.
  • Optional: Blocks, and a Yoga Strap.

Cost

$4/person, $10/family

Children

People often ask me if they can bring their kids.  Children are welcome to come if they can participate respectfully throughout class. Please do not bring children who will not be able to enjoy the experience with you.
